Honey For Hair Loss

For many centuries honey has been known and used as an effective hair loss solution. For example, it can be used as an ingredient for a special hair rinse which can make our hair stronger and looking shiny. It is very easy to use by preparing a hair rinse. All you need to do is just add one teaspoon of  high quality honey to 1 liter of warm water, stir your mixture properly and then use it as a hair rinse.

Honey has a great variety of therapeutic properties, including antioxidant, antibacterial and soothing. It has very high nutritional value and is rich in many essential elements. Specialists are studying miraculous therapeutic effects of honey and its power to treat itching, dandruff and hair loss. In particular, in the beginning of the century, group of American specialists who worked in the labs of Dubai Specialized Medical Center found scientific evidence of the fact that honey can be effectively used to treat seborrheic dermatitis of scalp and scaling.

Also, honey is valued for its excellent moisturizing properties, that is why it is frequently used as an ingredient of many hair or skin care products. Natural high quality can be used in conjunction with many herbal remedies to support hair growth. In particular, it can be combined with olive oil and cinnamon to produce a special paste, which can be massaged into the scalp and stimulate hair follicle development. This homemade remedy for hair loss is quite gentle, and it can be used 2-3 times a week.

Also, it is possible to prepare a special blend for hair loss treatment which includes honey, rosemary and olive oil. Mix two table spoons of olive oil with 3-4 drops of rosemary oil and 3-4 table spoons of honey, and apply the mixture throughout your hair. Then, cover up your hair with a towel and leave the mixture for 20-25 minutes. Wash off the mixture using your usual shampoo and hair conditioner.
